NV Parish Archive Catalogue

The Parish Archive Catalogue is a Google Sheets document with a variety of columns which detail each particular artefact.

These may be pictures, photographs, letters, newspaper articles, maps, books and so on.

You can interrogate this document in order to find a particular entry depending upon your search criteria. You can search the spreadsheet for anything you may wish to find to see if we have it recorded.

For those of you who are new to researching a topic we have provided "A Guide to Researching a Topic" to help as you start  looking for links/articles/documents relating to your search.

Use CTRL-F or CTRL-H or CMD H (MAC) to then enter your required search which will then highlight the element if found and how many entries there are matching your search. Then use the down or up arrow to move to the next or previous reference you are searching for. In the opened catalogue there is a comment in Cell A1 which appears when you hover over it to remind you how to search

As part of the archive, we have for each entry a scanned digital image (PDF, JPG, DOC etc) available. Most of these are available on the website but a number are not, due to copyright. If you would like to see any of them then please contact us from the Contact Us page with your enquiry.

Please note that the online catalogue is a 'work in progress' and we welcome feedback from users on how easy it is to access documents. Once you have had a look and done some searches, please use the contact form on the Contact Us page to give us your feedback.
